Scott Jurek

I got a chance to meet Ultrarunner Scott Jurek a few weeks back. Scott is the Lance Armstrong of ultrarunning. He has won Western States 7 times in a row and also won Badwater. Last year he won Western States 100 then won Badwater two weeks later. Both races are considered to be the toughest races around.

He spoke at the Cuyahoga Falls Nat about his running. The lecture was very good. He did a great job speaking and was a really down to earth person. This year he plans on returning to Badwater, 135 mile race through Death Valley, to defend his title and attempt in breaking 24hours.
